Caren Upshaw - Bio

Caren Upshaw loves being a Realtor because her talent is to make hard work look and feel like fun!

Personal Mission Statement: “To treat each individual in my path with respect and honesty, no matter which side of the table they are on.”

Experience: Caren has personal experience with the psychology of transition -- she moved 12 times before getting to Austin in 1982. She has been a Realtor® since 1999, hitting the ground running as Rookie of the Year.

Caren’s strength as a Realtor®, according to her clients, is using her intellect, intuition and perseverance to partner with them in either Buying or Selling their homes. Because there is so much information available, her job is to help provide informed questions so that the clients can determine their preferred decisions at each fork in the road.

Designations: She has gained the designations of Accredited Buyers Representative, and International Luxury Homes Marketing.

Specialties: Westlake, Waterfront, and wherever you or your friends want to live. This year, her specialty has been in cash deals, as some buyers have rearranged their portfolios.

Community: Caren’s children graduated from Eanes ISD, but she is familiar with all of the school districts, neighborhoods, and price ranges in the extended Austin area. She sings in the choir at her church, and enjoys recycling good karma by contributing a % of her earnings to Austin and global charities, so please let her know if you have a favorite.

Personal: Caren loves to have fun, waterskiing or snow skiing with her Engineer husband, hiking, walking the dog, or anything involving family and friends. And the adrenalin rush of helping a client score their dream home is right up there at the top of her fun list!
