Bob Hachtel - Bio

Bob Hachtel has been helping people buy and sell homes in the Austin area since 2006 and can’t imagine doing anything else. As a native Texan, Bob moved from Odessa, TX, the home of the Friday Night Lights, to Austin for an exciting career in finance. But, the truth is that finance is not that exciting at all. He decided his personality is much better suited for working with people than working behind a desk all day, so he began a career in sales. Bob was instantly drawn to the Austin real estate market, so he began working as a mortgage loan officer. It was after a few years in the mortgage business that Bob decided to obtain his real estate license and become full service to his clients.

With experience as a loan officer, Bob knows the ins and outs of mortgages and investments. But the exciting part of his day is helping his clients market their homes for sale or to search for the best home for their family. From downtown condos to ranch style homes, Bob has experience with it all.

Bob enjoys discovering new restaurants and fun places to go in Austin with his wife Michaela, exercising, and playing 80’s rocks songs with his garage band. He is passionate about the Texas Longhorns and the Dallas Stars. He is usually never without his cell phone, iPod and Chap Stick.
